How long does the process take?

That depends on the number of teeth you’re replacing and your body’s ability to heal. The osseointegration process alone can take three to six months or longer. This process is critical to the success of your treatment and can’t be rushed! Implant surgery can often be completed in one or two dental visits, after which there’s a brief recovery period for your gums to heal. Dr. Garazi can put temporary teeth in place after surgery until your implants fully heal.

How do I care for implant teeth?

One of the beauties of implants is their easy maintenance and care. Your new teeth will look, feel, and function like real teeth, and you’ll care for them in the same way, by brushing twice daily, flossing daily (a water flosser is crucial for most cases for proper maintenance), and seeing Dr. Garazi every three months for checkups and cleanings.
