Dr. Garazi will numb your mouth before LANAP treatment to keep you comfortable and pain-free throughout your procedure. That way, we can do a thorough job without worrying about causing you pain. You may experience slight discomfort after your treatment. This can generally be relieved with OTC medication. We’ll also give you detailed instructions on how to care for your mouth after your LANAP procedure.
How long does LANAP treatment take?
That depends on the severity of your condition. Some cases can be treated in one dental visit. If your condition is severe, we may need multiple visits to eliminate all the bacteria and get your infection under control.
