Welcome To Garazi Periodontics & Dental Implants, Your Home For Advanced Gum Care And Tooth Replacement
Led by Drs. Isaac and David Garazi, our practice supports families across South Florida in their pursuit of attractive, healthy smiles. Both board-certified dentists, this father-son duo distinguishes themselves from other practices in Miami and beyond with advanced certifications in periodontics and implantology. Furthermore, they have invested in the training and technologies to support the latest cutting-edge diagnostics and laser-assisted therapies. Together, these capabilities add to a positive, healing, comfortable, safe, and precise treatment experience.
The Power Of Periodontist Expertise
“Periodontics” refers to the tissues and structures that support the teeth. It is derived from the Greek root words for “around” (“peri”) and “teeth” (“odont”). Periodontists, in turn, have highly focused knowledge and experience with protecting, diagnosing, managing, and treating these supportive structures. Notably, the pinkish-red gums help to stabilize the teeth. So, it is essential for our valued patients to take care of their gums.
Proper care includes consistently good oral hygiene at home (brushing and flossing) and maintaining professional cleanings and exams at the dentist’s office. These efforts minimize the risk of developing gum disease, a progressive condition and leading cause of tooth loss. Without proper interventions, gum or periodontal disease becomes worse.
What starts as gingival inflammation (gingivitis) can progress to advanced periodontitis. In its severe form, gum disease breaks down the attachments between the teeth and gums. Periodontal pockets or spaces form between the teeth and gums, which harbor bacteria. Eventually, periodontitis can erode the supportive bone and lead to the loss of teeth.
Fortunately, Drs. Garazi have the skill and tools to pinpoint periodontal problems early into the disease process before they cause irreversible damage. They also offer a vast range of state-of-the-art therapies. The appropriate treatment is tailored to each patient’s needs. These therapeutic capabilities include:
- Gum grafting for receding gums
- Crown lengthening to expose more of the teeth (for “gummy” smiles)
- Osseous surgery for advanced gum disease
- Gingivectomy to remove damaged tissues and for pocket reduction
- Bone grafting for patients whose mouths have sustained bone loss (“resorption”)
- Laser-Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP®), a comfortable, highly precise, targeted, and fast alternative to conventional cutting techniques that also supports healthy healing
With this combination of in-house technology and expertise, we have a high success rate in preserving teeth. However, if teeth need to be removed for whatever reason, Drs. Garazi are also equipped to handle the surgical aspects of the dental implant process. Dental implants are considered the “gold standard” in replacing missing or failing teeth. The implant is precisely positioned and secured in the jawbone. It functions as a tooth root to hold a crown, bridge, or denture in place. Our doctors also offer advanced surgical procedures. These include sinus lifts or bone/ridge augmentations for patients with bone loss who would otherwise not be good candidates for dental implants.
This is just a quick glimpse into the unique onsite skills and services that Garazi Periodontics & Dental Implants offers to individuals and their families from across the greater Miami, FL area. Call (305) 690-0611 to find out more and to schedule an appointment.

From dental implants to gum disease treatments, our periodontal and implant professionals provide high-quality care, ensuring all visits to our office are pleasant and positive as we successfully reach your desired smile goals.
Here at Garazi Periodontics and Dental Implants, we try to treat every patient as if they’re family. Our only interest is to give them the best possible care that we can give them. We try to treat the patient as an entire patient.
We’re not only looking at one tooth or one implant, we’re trying to look at their entire medical history and their entire body as as a whole and treat them comprehensively.
I didn’t always know I was going to work with my dad, but certainly from a young age, I knew that that was a possibility and I saw how happy he was in his career and his life. I saw how well respected he was in the community.
We would be out to dinner or at football games and patients would come up to him and thank him for his work. And as I matriculated through undergraduate and dental school and of course, periodontics, it was a no-brainer. I wanted to join his practice.
We worked well together and I knew it was a great future and a great service that I can provide to patients by increasing their overall health and certainly their dental health.
You know, I was very happy when he decided to go to dental school and I always told him that he should go into dentistry with an open mind and pick for himself which area of dentistry you wanted to specialize. I always encouraged him to specialize.
I don’t feel that you can be the absolute best that you can be if you are doing everything. You have to pick an area that you’re interested in and when he decided to do his period training and become a periodontist, I was very happy.
This is the place to come. They’ll take care of you. They’re so pleasant the way they speak to you and that’s how they’ve always been since I’ve done it.
The technology that they have in this office is extremely impressive. Everything is so up-to-date and the knowledge that they have is very impressive to me as well.
We use the latest technology, digital x-rays, three-dimensional imaging. We do scanning, intraoral scanning to create models of their teeth so after the patient’s gone, we can continue to examine their mouth and using all that information, we together with the general dentist try to make a treatment plan that makes sense for that patient.
An important part of our office culture is professionalism. You know, we want to deliver the best quality care to our patients but also along with that, we want to be personable. We interact with our patients both here in the office and out in the community. We want to be, you know, friendly with them and sometimes we’re joking around but again, we combine both professionalism, quality of care, and being personable and being friendly and getting along well with our patients.
We want our patients to feel that they received a service that’s valuable for them. They received what they were looking for. They leave here satisfied. No matter how good we are, if the patient’s perception is not that they received a good value, they’re not going to be happy so that’s our main goal. I couldn’t think of a better partner than to have my son practicing with me on a daily basis and we’re happy being with each other and so our staff sees that, feels that, and we have a happy environment within the whole office.
I’m Isaac Garazi and I’m David Garazi and we are Garazi Periodontics and Dental Implants. Come visit us soon so we can help you get on your way to a healthier smile.

Our Patients Tell The Story Best
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Garrazzi’s for a long period of time, and during this time I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries done, I’ve had quite a few extractions done, I’ve had gum grabs done, and I’ve had four separate implants done.
So Corinne has lost several teeth, some teeth were lost due to root canal treatment that failed, others were lost because the tooth fractured, and so in each case we remove the tooth, sometimes we immediately place the implant, in her case at other times we’ve had to remove the tooth, put bone in the site, wait for the bone to heal, and then eventually place the implant. So depending on which site, we were forced to do different types of treatment.
All of the implants Dr. Garrazzi has done for me have been very successful. Even though I’m still in the process of coming in to check this fourth implant, I feel this one is just as successful as the other three. The technology that they have in this office is extremely impressive.
Everything is so up to date, and it’s like kind of going into the twilight zone sometimes, you know, when I just look at everything, and the knowledge that they have is very impressive to me as well. The chair side manner of Dr. Garazi is extremely, extremely amazing. I believe that’s one of the things that keeps me coming back.
I’m very comfortable with him, and the staff has been very helpful, very pleasant, and explained everything that was going on, and it just made me feel very comfortable.
Corinne not only is a patient, but she’s been a friend of our family for many, many years, so it’s a great feeling to be able to help your friends, your family, and all your patients to recover from whatever problem they have and return them to health.
I can now actually open my mouth wider and just feel more confident. I don’t think it would have been possible without the work that was performed by Dr. Garazi.
“All of the treatments Dr Garazi has done for me have all been successful.”
The issues I was having basically started with my general dentist identifying with x-rays that he felt that I needed four root canals. And so after he took the x-rays, he determined that we shouldn’t do the root canals. He felt that what should be done is that I should have the teeth removed and a lower bridge.
Larry is a friend who we’ve known for many, many years. And so he let his mouth go downhill for some time. And when he came to us, his mouth really was at the point where almost every tooth needs to be replaced.
So Larry’s most recent treatment was to remove his lower teeth, place implants, and immediately place a temporary bridge on those implants. So that bridge is fixed in place. It’s not removable.
And from the day that the implants were placed, the very next day he was eating, he was smiling, he was talking. He had very little post-operative discomfort and he’s been an ideal patient because of that.
I think it was absolutely critical and important as the patient that he took the time and he really spent the time to thoroughly explain to me the problems that I had and what he had to do to rectify it or correct it and replace those teeth with what I have now.
So the trust that our patients and Larry as a close friend put in us is the most valuable experience that we have. It’s what makes us love what we do. That trust is just immeasurable.
First time I saw my teeth was after he installed them here in the office. I mean, and then with a mirror, he showed it to me. It was like a shock.
This is the place to come. They’ll take care of you. You’re so pleasant the way they speak to you.
And that’s how they’ve always been since I’ve known them. But their abilities are just tremendous. I’ve recommended in the past, but now I really know that this is the place to come.
I still cannot believe what it looks like.
“First time I saw my new teeth in the mirror I was shocked!”
